    Description

Apollo 8 Flown Page from Updates Book Signed by and Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot James Lovell, also Signed by Frank Borman. A 5" x 8" page titled "P27 Update" and printed on both sides on three-hole punched cardstock, dated "Nov 26, 1968" at front left margin. It is signed: "First flight to the Moon/ Frank Borman/ Apollo 8 CDR" and "James Lovell/ Apollo 8 CMP". This was taken from the full original flown book, part number "SKB 32100042-201" and serial number "1003" sold by Heritage in 2008 (Auction 6007, Lot 41076). Flown artifacts from man's first trip to the moon are always in demand. Included with this lot are two letters from Spaceflori, signed by Florian Noller, attesting to their purchase of the original book and subsequent removal of this page from it. Excellent.

Included with this lot are Astronaut Central Certificates of Authenticity for the Borman and Lovell signatures, both signed by Kim Poor.
