    Description

Apollo 17 Lunar Module Flown LM Malfunction Procedures Book Page Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Gene Cernan, in Framed Display. A 7" x 9" (sight size) three-hole punched, page numbered 8-9 and 8-10, covering "5a THRU 5c" and "6 THRU 6a". From the "LM Malfunction Procedures" book, P/N "SKB32100127", and S/N "1001". Dated July 12, 1972, this sheet includes procedural flow charts related to various potential problems with the electrical power systems. The Apollo 17 Lunar Module Challenger spent more than three full days on the surface of the moon with this item aboard. Included with this lot are photocopies of both sides of the flown page made before it was framed. Some of the above information was taken from them. This page is handsomely double-matted and framed to an overall 21.5" x 17.5" with a 4" diameter embroidered mission patch and an engraved brass plate with explanatory text. Mankind may return to the moon in the next few years. Until then, this item was present the last time man was there. Excellent.
