Apollo 17 Lunar Module Flown LM Activation Checklist Signed by and from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Gene Cernan. A multi-page, three-ring bound, 8" x 6" checklist that was flown to the moon's surface aboard the Lunar Module Challenger. Cernan has certified and signed on an internal page: "Carried to the Lunar Surface Apollo XVII Gene Cernan". This highly desirable surface-flown book has been handsomely framed, shadow-box style, to an overall 12.5" x 19.5". A printed panel mounted beneath has explanatory text: "Activation Checklist for the Apollo 17 Lunar Module 'Challenger'; Carried to the Lunar Surface, December, 1972." An important part of this, the last, manned moon landing mission; these are rarely offered complete. Extremely fine condition.
