Apollo 17 Crew-Signed Launch and Recovery Covers, with Zarelli Certificates of Authenticity. As follows. (1) Philatelic cover with the mission insignia printed in color and also rubber-stamped, cancelled December 11, 1972, at Kennedy Space Center, signed in black felt tips: "Gene Cernan', "Ron Evans", "H H Schmitt". Also rubber-stamped "6th Lunar Landing". (2) A Recovery cover with the rubber-stamped Nay Recovery Force cachet, cancelled aboard the recovery ship USS Ticonderoga, December 19, 1972, signed in various inks: "Harrison Schmitt/ Apollo 17 LMP", "Gene Cernan", and "Ron Evans/ Apollo 17". Interestingly, the original owner of the cover has made notations on the verso as to when and where these signatures were obtained. Included with this lot are COAs from Steve Zarelli. Both very fine.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
