    Description

Apollo 15 Flown Panel Screws (Sixty-four) from the Estate of NASA Engineer Donald T. Hamilton, NAS1133C3 (Forty) and NAS1623C (Twenty-four) Close Tolerance. From an engineer heavily involved with processing the command modules after their return to JSC, here is a large group of National Aerospace Standard right hand screws that were taken out of CM-112 when various panels were removed for testing and examination. Rare and desirable relics used as part of a spacecraft that traveled to the moon and back. Included are two different styles; both are countersunk machine screws with offset cruciform drive slots, made of corrosion-resistant steel. From the person who wrote the "Postflight Testing of Command Modules" NASA Technical Note (photocopy included). Also included is the sheet of paper where Hamilton originally wrote "Apollo 15/ CM112" as stored with these screws. Used, generally fine (one damaged). From the family collection of the late Donald T. Hamilton, a NASA engineer of 40+ years' service.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
