DescriptionApollo 14 Flown Kapton Foil and Ablative Plugs (Five) from the Estate of NASA Engineer Donald T. Hamilton. From the person who wrote the "Postflight Testing of Command Modules" NASA Technical Note (photocopy included), here are rare flown relics he saved from the processing of the CM-110 after the Apollo 14 mission to the moon. We offer an odd-shaped piece of Kapton foil, approximately 3" x 1.5", as was used to cover the CM as a heat-deflecting device. Also, five 0.75" x 0.5" ablative plugs that were threaded into holes to cover the bolts that were used to secure various access panels around the exterior of the spacecraft. Extremely rare material with excellent history. Fine. From the family collection of the late Donald T. Hamilton, a NASA engineer of 40+ years' service.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
