    Description

Apollo 14 Flown Ablative Plugs (Twenty-five) from the Estate of NASA Engineer Donald T. Hamilton, all with Minor Damage from Use. From the person who wrote the "Postflight Testing of Command Modules" NASA Technical Note (photocopy included), here are rare flown relics he saved from the processing of the CM-110 after the Apollo 14 mission to the moon. We offer twenty-five 0.75" x 0.5" (approximate size) ablative plugs; these were threaded into holes to cover the bolts that were used to secure various access panels around the exterior of the spacecraft. These all exhibit minor damage such as cracking and missing pieces. Extremely rare material with excellent history. Very good overall. From the family collection of the late Donald T. Hamilton, a NASA engineer of 40+ years' service.
