    Apollo 14 Command Module Flown Instrument Cover on Plaque, Presented by Mission Command Module Pilot Stuart Roosa. This item flew to the moon aboard the third manned lunar landing mission in 1971. It is approximately 1.875" in diameter with a 1" round pull ring attached. The NASA markings are "P/N SEB33100063-301" and "S/N 1019 ASSY.". The piece is attached to a 6" x 8" heavy wooden plaque with an engraved brass plate below, "This instrument cover was used onboard the/ Command Module Kittyhawk on the Apollo 14/ mission to Fra Mauro./ Jan.31 - Feb. 9, 1971/ Presented to Bert Klineburger/ By Astronaut Stuart Roosa". Klineburger is a legendary international hunter and safari leader who became friends with many of the Apollo astronauts and led them on big game hunts. Near excellent condition.
