DescriptionApollo 13: Two Desirable Original NASA "Red Number" Color Glossy Photos. Both 10" x 8" with the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on verso, as follows.
S-70-36485: The prime crew of the NASA's Apollo 13 lunar landing mission. James A. Lovell Jr., commander; John L. Swigert Jr., command module pilot; and Fred W. Haise Jr., lunar module pilot.
AS13-62-9004: Interior view of "mail box" for purging carbon dioxide from Lunar Module during the trouble-plagued journey back to Earth. This photograph shows some of the temporary hose connections and apparatus which were necessary when the three astronauts moved from the CM to use the LM as a "lifeboat". Astronaut Jack Swigert is on the right. On the left, an astronaut holds in his right hand the feed water bag from the Portable Life Support System (PLSS). It is connected to a hose (in center) from the Lunar Topographic (Hyson) camera. In the background is the "mail box," a jerry-rigged arrangement which the Apollo 13 astronauts built to use the CM lithium hydroxide canisters to purge carbon dioxide from the LM. Since there was a limited amount of lithium hydroxide in the LM, this arrangement was rigged up to utilize the canisters from the CM. The "mail box" was designed and tested on the ground at the Manned Spacecraft Center before it was suggested to the Apollo 13 crewmen. Because of the explosion of one of the oxygen tanks in the Service Module, the three crewmen had to use the LM as a "lifeboat". (Small flaws at upper right margin).
Excellent except as noted.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
