DescriptionApollo 13 Training-Used LM Data Card Book Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander James Lovell, Signed, with Signed LOA. An eighteen page book on 8.5" x 10.5" cardstock between two covers, held together with three binder rings. The part number "SKB 32100082-387" and date of "March 30, 1970" is printed on the front cover along with "LOVELL" written at the top. He has signed: "James Lovell" in black ink. This was used in training and contains seven tabbed pages related to LM navigation. Lightly toned on the front, otherwise very fine.
Included with this lot is a signed Letter of Certification from Lovell on his company letterhead stating, in full: "I certify that this LM Data Card Book was developed for the training for the Apollo 13 crew. Because the landing was aborted we could not use its charts. Apollo 13 perilous flight took off on April 11 and returned safely on April 17, 1970. This training book is from my personal collection of space artifacts and has been in my possession since the mission."
