Apollo 13 NASA Mustard Yellow Flight Suit Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot Jack Swigert, with LOA. A standard issue gold NASA flight suit from the late 1960s era, owned and worn by Swigert. An embroidered 2.75" diameter NASA "Meatball" patch is sewn on the right breast and a 4" x 2" Velcro strip is sewn on the left breast where the nametag would be (not present). On the upper right sleeve is sewn a 3.75" diameter embroidered Apollo 13 crew patch. The tag at the inside neck reads: "Coveralls, Flying, Mens/ Durette, Gold, Type CWU-P/ NAS 9-13717 MIL-C-83141/ Size 40 R/ Anti-Cold Insulated Clothing". The suit features multiple zippers and pockets. This suit is of the type that Swigert would have worn during the period of his Apollo 13 mission. Obvious signs of wear but fine overall.

Included with this lot is a Letter of Authenticity signed by Jack Swigert's sister, Virginia Swigert, certifying "that this NASA Mustard Yellow Flight Suit - With Apollo 13 Patch Sewn To Sleeve is from Jack Swigert's personal collection" and that it comes directly from his estate.
