Apollo 13 Movie Promotional & Display EVA Spacesuit with Boots, PLSS, Gloves, "Snoopy Cap," and Undergarment. Made for the 1995 drama starring Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Paxton, this was used on the promotional tour for the film. Though there is no nametag, this would have been Commander Jim Lovell's (played by Tom Hanks) suit as evidenced by the red "commander's stripe" (used for the first time on that mission). It is made out of a heavy, coarse cloth with NASA and Apollo 13 patches and hose connectors. Included are a pair of very large rubber boots, a pair of gloves, a full-length quilted undergarment, a "Snoopy cap" communications headpiece, and a massive PLSS unit with various hoses attached. This would certainly garner a lot of attention in your space collection display and may even inspire a space-themed party come next Halloween. Excellent.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
