    Description

Apollo 13 Flown Segment of Couch Fabric on Crew-Signed Certificate. A 1" square of material taken from a crew couch mounted on a 7" x 5" card with a mission insignia, titled "A Piece of 'Odyssey' CSM 109". These swatches were removed from the crew couches in order to give key team members, such as "Charles D. Clary" a souvenir of a "Job Well Done!" Signed at the bottom by the flight crew: "James Lovell", "Jack Swigert", and "Fred Haise", as well as launch director "Walter J. Kapryan". Creases at top right, very good.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
