    Ex. James Lovell

Apollo 13 Flown Large Heat Shield Ablative Plug in Acrylic Display Originally from the Personal Collection of James Lovell. A 2.75" diameter x 2.75" tall cylinder containing a 1.25" diameter x 2.25" long plug removed from the Command Module Odyssey after its return to earth. Engraved on the bottom is: "APOLLO 13/ APRIL 11-17, 1970". This was given in friendship to the Houston OB-GYN Doctor who delivered Lovell's children and it comes to us from his daughter.
