Description

Apollo 13 Flown EVA Prep and Post Cue Cards Signed by and from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander James Lovell. A total of three cards, each printed front and back on very heavy cardstock, 10.25" x 7.75", and with a hole punched at top. The first of these cards, titled "ONE MAN EVA PREP & POST", gives a checklist of the steps necessary to prepare for an extra-vehicular activity. The second and third cards, titled "EVA 2 PREP & POST" are taped together bottom to top and have similar content. Lovell has signed each title card. Great flown memorabilia of this ill-fated but safely completed mission. Extremely fine condition.

This lot includes a signed Letter of Authenticity from Lovell on his letterhead stating: "I hereby certify that these EVA Prep and Post Cue Cards were on board the Apollo 13 spacecraft. Apollo 13 perilous flight took off on April 11 and returned safely on April 17, 1970. These EVA cards were from my personal collection of space artifacts and has been in my possession since the mission.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
