    Ex. Alan Bean

Apollo 12 Rare Crew-Signed "Type Three" Insurance Cover, Directly from the Family Collection of Mission Lunar Module Pilot Alan Bean, Signed and Certified. A philatelic cover with 10¢ "First Man on the Moon" (Scott #C76) stamp affixed, bearing a pictorial machine cancellation from Kennedy Space Center dated November 14, 1969, the day that Apollo 12 was launched. The color cachet is a non-official mission insignia showing a Yankee Clipper, the moon, the ocean, and three stars against a blue background. The crew's names and positions are printed below. Neatly signed in black felt tip in the address area: "Alan L Bean", "Dick Gordon", and "Charles Conrad Jr". Signed on the verso: "Insurance Cover/ From my Collection/ Apollo 12 LMP". This is a great example of a rarely-seen cover type that was produced in small quantities. Excellent.
