    Description

Apollo 12 Flown Instrument Panel Cover Directly from the Family Collection of Mission Command Module Pilot Richard Gordon, with His Signed Certificate of Authenticity. A 1.875" diameter aluminum disc with a 1" diameter pull ring attached with printed "P/N SEB33100063-301 S/N 1015 ASSY." There is a small piece of Velcro on the verso. As stated on the included COA signed by Gordon, this "Apollo XII Instrument Panel Cover [was] used to eliminate light from the accelerometer that was undesirable during flight." Included with this lot is a copy of the page from the Apollo 12 Stowage List showing this particular item. Very fine.
