    Apollo 11 Original NASA Stereo Glass Slide, a Close-up Image of Lunar Surface Powder, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 2.75" x 1" pair of 1" wide images, NASA AS11-45-6706, mounted in a hand-numbered 4" x 3.25" glass slide as a stereo pair. The subject is a small lump of lunar surface powder about a half inch across, with various small pieces of different color; many small, shiny spherical particles can be seen. The exposure was made by the Apollo 11 35mm stereo close-up camera; the astronauts only took seventeen such images with this so-called "Gold" camera. Extremely rare and desirable. Excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival holder, CAG 1001747-008. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
