Apollo 11: NASA Training-Used and Annotated Pages from the Flight Plan and Onboard Flight Data File Documents Directly from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Jack Lousma, Signed and Certified, with Signed Certificate of Authenticity. Approximately 35 pages, 10" x 8.5", some paper, others cardstock, all held together by binder rings. These were pages removed from the above documents for easier use in the cockpit; they cover from CSM Separation to LM Descent, Landing, Surface Preps, Lunar Liftoff, Rendezvous & Docking with CSM. He has signed on the front page in black felt tip: "From my personal collection and in my sole possession since issue. Jack Lousma, Skylab II, STS-3". Numerous pencil notes internally. Light wear from use, fine.

Included with this lot is a detailed signed Certificate of Authenticity on Lousma's personal letterhead stating: "This COA is for 35 'loose leaf', 3-ring pages that were excerpted from two larger Apollo 11 documents for ease of cockpit use in Lunar Module (LM) flight training and the actual mission.

"Eighteen (18) pages are from Apollo 11 Flight Plans dated in June and July, 1969. They cover LM procedures performed by the flight crew from CSM undocking to lunar touchdown to CSM re-docking. The flight crew expanded some of these pages and added others to provide more detail to the broader scope of the Flight Plan format.

"Seventeen (17) pages entitled, 'Rendezvous Timeline and Relative Motion Trajectories', excerpted from the onboard Flight Data File. Flight crew procedures are outlined with accompanying orbital charts for LM return to CSM in the event of LM failures during five separate phases between CSM undocking and landing.

"These 35 pages are from my training library. They have been part of my personal collection and in my sole possession since they were issued in July, 1969.

About 25 white pages are excerpts from Flight Plan for easier use in the cockpit and cover from CSM Separation to LM Descent, Landing, Surface Preps, Lunar Liftoff, Rendezvous & Docking with CSM."

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
