Apollo 11: NASA / Manned Spacecraft Center "Lunar Sample Information Catalog" Book, Original August 31, 1969, Edition. A three-hole punched book, 8" x 10.5", bound with screw posts. According to the Foreword by Elbert A. King, Jr., Curator, Lunar Receiving Laboratory: "The purpose of this catalog is to provide the lunar-sample principal investigators with information about the total lunar samples returned and specific information about individual samples..." An incredible amount of work went into gathering this much detailed information in such a short period of time. Heavily illustrated, 412 pages. The first of this original publication (not the 1977 revised edition) that we've offered. Fine. From the family collection of the late Donald T. Hamilton, a NASA engineer of 40+ years' service.
