    Ex. Jack Lousma

Apollo 11: NASA "Final Apollo 11 Flight Plan AS-506 / CSM-107 / LM-5" July 1, 1969-dated Book Directly from the Collection of Astronaut Jack Lousma, Signed and Certified, with Signed Certificate of Authenticity. An original 8" x 10.5" five-hole punched, staple-bound manual of nearly 350 pages, as issued to Lousma whose name is written on the front. It is divided into six major sections: "General", "Update Forms", "Detailed Timeline", "Detailed Test Objectives", "Consumables", and "Summary Flight Plan". The Detailed Timeline is particularly interesting- 135 pages of crew activities, planned minute by minute. A seldom-seen original document for the most renowned mission of the entire space program. On the back are hand-drawn diagrams in pencil by Lousma. On the front he has signed in black felt tip: "From my personal collection and in my sole possession since issue. Jack Lousma Skylab II, STS-3". Front cover worn, a piece of tape is placed near the staple where there is a tear, inside clean, overall fine.

Included with this lot is a signed Certificate of Authenticity on Lousma's personal letterhead stating: "This Final version of the Apollo 11 Flight Plan, dated July 1, 1969, is from my spaceflight training library. It has been part of my personal collection and in my sole possession since it was issued in July, 1969."

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
