    Description

Apollo 11 Mission Patch Flown to the Moon's Surface.

Apollo 11 Lunar Module Flown Beta Cloth Mission Insignia Directly from the Personal Collection of Mission CapCom Ron Evans. A 3.375" Apollo 11 patch captioned on its mat "This emblem carried to the lunar surface July 20, 1969", matted and framed to 21.5" x 11.5" with color photos of Armstrong and Aldrin on the lunar surface and a plaque that reads:
    Presented to
    Ron Evans
In Appreciation for your Service to Apollo 11
    From Neil, Mike, and Buzz.

Any item that flew to the surface of the moon in Apollo 11's Lunar Module Eagle is rare and highly sought after by space collectors. This personalized presentation piece is made more desirable in that Evans was a Capsule Communicator for this historic flight and would travel to the moon himself on Apollo 17. Excellent condition.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
