    Apollo 11: Large Varied Collection of Interesting, Displayable, and Informative Collectibles including Illinois "JULY 20" License Plates, a Large Beta Cloth Insignia, and a Set of Large Apollo 11 Images. A superb group of both period and anniversary items, includes medals, badges, pins, books, images, license plates, etc. Brief descriptions follow. See images for details.
    Books and Publications: An original 10" x 13" "Apollo Program Office Splashdown Party" program; a 9.5" diameter "Apollo 11 Mission Analyzer, Guidance and Navigation" by Raytheon (1969); First Men on the Moon Historic First Pages (1972); Post Lunar Isolation Menus Lunar Receiving Lab (n.d.); First Men on the Moon Historic First Pages & Special Cartoon Portfolio (1976); Apollo 11 America on the Moon. Your Hour by Hour Guide to the Historic First Moon Landing (1994); The Flight of Apollo 11 (1994); and "Apollo---First Manned Lunar Landing/ NASA Picture set No. 4" (twelve 11" x 14" color photos in original envelope (corner dings).
    Beta Cloth: A scarce 10" diameter mission insignia on a 14" square swatch (folds and minor staining n borders) and a 6" square swatch with a colorful image of the LM with the text "Man on the Moon/ July 20, 1969.
    Medals, Pins, Buttons, etc.: Eleven quality medals ranging in size from 30mm to 38mm, both period and anniversary; three anniversary pinbacks, up to 3.5"; and a group of assorted pins, a few vintage, most anniversary, with many nice enamels. Thirty-plus pieces total. Also, an XL T-shirt from the Neil Armstrong Air & Space Museum.
    License Plates: Two vintage Illinois plates reading "JULY 20" with a 1987 article from the Wapakoneta newspaper picturing his car, titled "Illinois collector honors landing of Apollo XI"; a City of Chicago, Illinois 1969 plate reading "APOLLO 11"; an "Apollo 11 Lunar Landing Ground Support Launch Team KSC", and a The Eagle has landed" souvenir tag.
