Apollo 11: Group of Six Original NASA Color Photos, all Iconic Images. From mankind's first lunar landing, here are six original 10" x 8" color glossy photos, all with purple ink captions on the verso along with the desirable "A KODAK PAPER" watermarks, as follows.
AS11-36-5337: A "red number" example of the "Apollo 11 View of Earth" image taken during the trans-lunar journey. Slightly less-glossy in appearance from the following. A very minor crease at far left margin.
AS11-40-5868: A "blue number" example showing LMP Buzz Aldrin descending the ladder of the Lunar Module Eagle on the moon. Light marginal creases at top right edge and top left corner.
AS11-40-5875: Another "blue number" example picturing Aldrin posed next to the planted American flag with a portion of the Eagle LM visible at left. Pristine.
AS11-40-5902: A "black number" example with Aldrin walking toward one of the legs of the Eagle lunar module. Numerous footprints are visible on the lunar surface. Pristine.
AS11-40-5903: A "blue number" example of the familiar and iconic "visor" pose where Buzz Aldrin is looking straight at photographer Neil Armstrong who is visible in the spacesuit helmet visor. Pristine.
AS11-40-5949: A "black number" example of a photo where Aldrin is deploying the Passive Seismic Experiment Package; the flag and the Eagle are visible in the background. Pristine.
These are some of the most gorgeous, high-quality Apollo 11 photos we've ever offered. Suitable for even the most serious photo collection.
