    Description

    Apollo 11 Flown Kapton Foil on Presentation Card Signed by Buzz Aldrin, Originally from His Personal Collection. A small piece (0.5" x 0.1875" overall) of the gold-colored outer skin covering of the Command Module Columbia attached to a two-sided 3.5" x 2.5" color photo card. The front features a photo of Aldrin on the moon next to the U.S. flag and is signed in black ink: "Buzz Aldrin". The back is a promo for the 2007 film The Wonder of it All in which Aldrin participated. This fragment flew to the moon as a physical part of the Apollo 11 spacecraft with Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins aboard and is a popular and collectible relic from this historic mission. Excellent.
