    Description

    Apollo 11 Flown Beta Cloth Segment Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 1.25" square swatch excised from a larger flown insignia, flown aboard the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. Beta cloth is made from fire-safe Fiberglass Beta yarns, originated and developed by Owens-Corning Fiberglas Corporation. It was used in the space suits worn by the Apollo astronauts. A very desirable lunar-flown relic from this landmark mission. Excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival holder, CAG 1001506-014. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
