    Description

Apollo 11 Eagle Grumman Apollo Operations Handbook - Lunar Module 5, Volume 1 Book. A massive (likely 1000+ pages) 2.5" thick manual, 8" x 10.5", five-hole punched and contained in a vintage black binder. It is dated "1 August 1968" on the title page with a part number of "LMA790-3-LM5". The fifth lunar module built by Grumman was the third to fly manned. This is the Subsystems Data manual for the vehicle that became known worldwide as Eagle, the first manned spacecraft to land on the moon with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin aboard. There are literally hundreds of illustrations and tables contained herein, including dozens of foldout schematics and diagrams. There is an alphabetical index and list of abbreviations in the back. For those with a technical interest in this historical mission, don't miss an opportunity to own an amazing source of original information. Very fine with minor wear to the title page.
