    Insurance Covers

Apollo 11 Crew-Signed "Type One" Insurance Cover with MSCSC Cachet. A philatelic cover with the "Apollo 8" 6¢ stamp (Scott #1371) affixed, bearing a pictorial machine cancellation from Kennedy Space Center dated July 20, 1969, the day that Apollo 11 landed on the moon. The color cachet features the text: "NASA Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club/ Official Commemorative Cover/ First Manned Lunar Exploration". It is boldly signed in blue felt tips: "Neil Armstrong," "Michael Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin". No astronaut provenance. Very fine.
