The rarest and most desirable example of its kind

Apollo 11 Crew-Signed Original NASA "Red Number" Color Photo Signed in June 1969 at the Request of NASA Director James Webb, One of Seven, with Provenance. A vintage 10" x 8" chromogenic print on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso, NASA image S-69-31739, with a beautiful set of black felt tip signatures: "Neil Armstrong", "Michael Collins", and "Buzz Aldrin". This was originally presented in 1969 to Nina Scrivener, the secretary to James Webb. Included with the lot is a letter on MSC James Webb letterhead to Nina date July 1, 1969, reading, in full: "Nina, Sorry it took so long, but we had to send the pictures down to the Cape to get the autographs. Scotty. (I had asked for 7, one to be autographed to Mr. Webb, but it got lost along the way. If it shows up later, will pass it on to your.) Also included is a 2004-dated letter from Scrivener's nephew certifying its history in the family. A great example of these in-demand autographs on a red number photo with provenance to NASA's director just before launch. Excellent.
