    Description

Apollo 11 Crew-Signed Dollar Bill. A Series 1969 $1 United States Note, serial number K29550161A featuring signatures from the full crew of the historic first manned lunar landing mission. When the lunar module Eagle descended onto the lunar surface President Kennedy's challenge had been answered, and for all intents and purposes the Space Race had been won. Widely considered the most collectible mission in the history of spaceflight, crew-signed items are eternally desirable. Having the signatures assembled on a pristine 1969 bill makes this an outstanding token of this achievement. The note was acquired by an employee of a Houston bank whom periodically interacted with Apollo era astronauts. Signed in black inks: "Neil Armstrong", "Buzz Aldrin", and "Michael Collins". Very fine.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
