Description

    Apollo 10 & Apollo 11: Saturn V Flight Manual SA 505 (Apollo 10) [and] Technical Information Summary Apollo 11 (AS-506) Books, both Originally from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Gordon Cooper. Two very important NASA manuals from these important missions.
    MSFC-MAN-505: Dated April 10, 1969, with "Cooper" written in red on the cover. Three hole punched, bound in cardstock covers, 8.25" x 10.75" x 0.75" thick, heavily illustrated. "This manual was prepared to provide the astronaut with a single source reference as to the characteristics and functions of the SA-505 launch vehicle and AS-505 flight mission." Cooper was backup commander for this mission. Very fine.
    S&E-ASTR-S-101-69: From the Marshall Space Flight Center, dated June 25, 1969, 8.5" x 10.75", staple-bound, heavily illustrated, with "Cooper" written on the cover. "The document presents a brief and concise description of the AS-506 Apollo Saturn Space Vehicle and the AS-506 mission. Some wear, very good.
