Amelia Earhart: 1935 Honolulu-Oakland Flight Archive. Amelia Earhart was a pop culture heroine whose 1937 disappearance while attempting to circumnavigate the globe from west to east remains an unanswered mystery. We offer three items from the estate of Clarence S. Williams, a navigation consultant based in Los Angeles. Williams prepared navigational charts used by Earhart in many of her flights, including her ill-fated final journey. The items in this archive were used on Earhart's solo flight from Honolulu to Oakland on January 11-12, 1935. The first item is a 9.75" x 19.75" sheet titled "Variable Time Analysis Sheet Ground Speeds 120-180 Honolulu, T.H. to Oakland, Calif." It also gives details for the "Great Circle Cutoff to Los Angeles", the "Rhumb Line Cutoff to Los Angeles" and the figures for a Honolulu to Los Angeles trip. The bottom reads: "Prepared for Miss Amelia Earhart, By Clarence S. Williams, Consultant in Navigation. 913 So. Grand, Los Angeles." The second item is a long booklet with three staples on one end, 9" x 30", titled "Navigation Data Honolulu-to-Oakland Flight Prepared for Miss Amelia Earhart By [...] Consultant in Navigation Los Angeles, California". It contains four pages of charts, prepared on December 28, 1934. These dictate the place of departure, how to set the pilot's watch, distance traveled, time on course, etc. There is a "Radio Position Sheet" and a "Graphic Course Analysis". The former says: "The time for each course change is shown with the latitude and longitude." The third item in the grouping is a May 1935 issue of "The National Geographic Magazine" with an illustrated story recounting "My Flight From Hawaii."Shipping, Taxes, Terms and Bidding

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.View More Testimonials
As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
