    Alexei Leonov's Presentation Naval Officer Dress Dagger with Leather Sheath, Marked Bulat 1978, with Photographic Provenance. A parade dagger of 13.5" overall length made from damask steel. The double-edged blade is mirror polished with mark and 1978 date. The Bakelite octagonal handle is hand-engraved in Russian script with Leonov's name and date. One side of the pommel is engraved with the Soviet State Emblem and there is a star on top. The leather scabbard has brass hardware with two hangers- one side shows a frigate at full sail, the other an anchor. This comes originally from Leonov's personal collection and included is a 7" x 5" color photo of him in his home holding this dagger. Only the lightest wear, very fine.
