Description1971 Abraham Lincoln by Victor D. Brenner Silver Plaque MS67 NGC, Originally From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A 48mm x 64mm silver medal by Medallic Art Co. of New York, a replica of the larger bronze plaque from 1907 so well-known to Coin and Americana collectors. This was issued to celebrate the centennial of the famous engraver and medalist who designed the Lincoln cent and it bears a likeness of Brenner on the reverse. Sealed in a numbered archival holder, CAG 1000803-009. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
