1957 Edwards Air Force Base Yearbook of the Air Force Flight Test Center. Air Research and Development Command (Baton Rouge: Army and Navy Publishing Co., 1957). An 8.5" x 11.25 hardbound yearbook with a decorative cover. It contains extensive information about the center with photos of the hundreds of military and civilian personnel working there at the time. That includes Gordon Cooper, Gus Grissom, and Deke Slayton, three of America's first seven astronauts; they are all pictured and named inside this volume. The AFFTC, in its present form, was formed in 1951 and the center's work force- civilian, military and contractor- all work together to flight test and evaluate new aircraft and upgrades to aircraft already in inventory for Air Force units, the Department of Defense, NASA and other government agencies. Interesting material for the Space or Military historian. Fine.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
