    Description

Skylab III (SL-4) Training-Used NASA Final "Maneuvering Experiments Checklist & Log" Book Directly from the Personal Collection of Astronaut Bruce McCandless II. A 6" x 8" x 1.5" thick tabbed cardstock book, three-hole punched and bound with binder rings. Dated August 29, 1973, and prepared by "EVA and Experiment Branch, Crew Procedures Division" of NASA / JSC. "McCandless" is written in blue on the cover. Many of the experiments detailed in this checklist for the crew of Carr, Gibson, and Pogue to perform are in regards to the M509 Astronaut Maneuvering Equipment. This was an early version of the Manned Maneuvering Unit that McCandless finally tested in space on STS-41-B. Interesting material. Near fine.
