    Projects Mercury and Gemini: Flown Artifacts from the First Sixteen Manned Flights on Philatelic Covers in Framed Display with Mission Patches. Beautiful presentation containing two philatelic covers representing Mercury and Gemini with flown artifacts from all flights attached. The Mercury cover is cancelled on the launch date of Mercury-Atlas 6 (Friendship 7) of February 20, 1962 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Various flown fragments from six flights are attached including pieces of parachute, tape, lanyard, and heatshield. The Gemini cover is cancelled on the launch date of Gemini 12 of November 11, 1966 at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Attached are heatshield fragments from all ten Gemini flights. Placed below the covers are patches from both projects. An incredible display item that contains flown material from two projects that reached incredible heights in manned space flight. Excellent.
