    Description

Neil Armstrong Vintage EVA Spacesuit Boots Radiograph, Taken Nine Days Before Launch. A 14" x 17" X-ray type transparency titled at the top: "050 NEIL ARMSTRONG 7 7 69". Radiographs were taken at Kennedy Space Center of all the pieces of the crew's pressure suits in order to test the integrity and screen for foreign objects that might compromise their safety during the mission such as a sewing needle left in the boot from manufacture. This item has been in the collection of a Kodak executive for all these decades. A fabulous item for display; we can picture it in a light box at a Doctor's office. That might start a conversation! Some light wear, fine.
