Both albums measure 11" x 12" and the front cover each bears the title "First Infantry Division / No Mission Too Difficult / No Sacrifice Too Great / Duty First / The Big Red One / Vietnam". The rear cover has an illustration of the U.S. flag and South Vietnamese flag flanking the division's insignia. The front endpaper of each album has a color image of the Division's Vietnam headquarters; the rear endpaper has a color image of a Huey helicopter hovering over a rice paddy. The first album contains nineteen 7" x 9.25" B&W photographs and typed captions mounted on adhesive paper under clear Mylar overlays. The album begins with a one-page, typed presentation letter on Major General A. E. Milloy's two-star general's letterhead to Neil, dated January 16, 1970 and signed by the general. The letter thanks Neil for the role he played in the Christmas show. The images include Major General Milloy on stage opening the show, various images of Bob Hope by himself, with Neil and the other performers which include Connie Stevens, Eva Reuber-Staier (Miss World 1969), many images of the Golddiggers, and the comic Peiro Brothers.

The second album contains twelve color images ranging in size from 8.25" x 7.5" to 7.5" x 9.25" each with typed captions mounted on adhesive paper under clear Mylar overlays. The album begins with a one-page, typed presentation letter on First Infantry Division Headquarters letterhead to Neil, dated February 18, 1970, signed by the Deputy Information Officer of the Division. The letter reads in part: "By now I am sure you have received your black-and-white Bob Hope Christmas Show photo album from the Big Red One. We recently processed color prints of the Lai Khe show and thought you might enjoy reliving that memorable performance." The images include various images of Bob Hope by himself, with Neil and the other performers which include Connie Stevens interacting with soldiers, Eva Reuber-Staier (Miss World 1969), many images of the Golddiggers, Laugh-In star Teresa Graves, and the comic Peiro Brothers. All images are in fine condition; the albums have light shelf wear and scuffing. CAG 1002079-016 & 1002079-017.
