Neil Armstrong Signed Invitation for a Reception Honoring the Apollo 11 Astronauts, July 15, 1969. A foldover 6.25" x 4.5" cardstock invitation with the Apollo 11 mission insignia on the front and the following text inside: "You are cordially invited to attend a reception honoring the Apollo XI astronauts on July 15, 1969 from 6 to 8 o'clock in the evening. Holiday Room. The Holiday Inn, Cocoa Beach, Fla." It is signed on the front in blue ballpoint: "Neil Armstrong". Our research shows that this likely refers to a Manned Flight Awareness reception where the crew showed up for an hour or so before heading to a NASA function. This is the evening before their launch to the moon. A 3.5" x 2" card also bearing the insignia, along with the text "Please present card for admittance", is also included. A vertical crease barely touches the edges of the signature, otherwise very fine. From the Apollo 11 collection of Ronald Ulrich.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
