Neil Armstrong Signed (Germany, 1972) 1969 National Geographic Magazine. The December issue with the "visor" photo on the cover and full coverage of the mission inside including a two-sided "flexi" disc titled "Sounds of the Space Age" as narrated by Frank Borman. Page 773 is a full page color image of the American flag on the lunar surface; it is signed in black felt tip: "Neil Armstrong". On the page previous is a handwritten note in an unknown hand: "8 November 1972, signed by Neil Armstrong in Manz, Deutschland, where he was attending/ the 2nd Europa-breffen "Jugend forscht" (Young Research)". An unusual but very appropriate photo for him to sign. Included with this lot is a Beckett Letter of Authenticity. Very fine.
