    Description

Neil Armstrong's Signed 1948-49 Ohio Driver's License. A 3.75" x 2.625" paper license, number M881899, issued on December 28, 1948, to Neil Alden Armstrong of 601 W. Benton Street in Wapakoneta. It lists the eighteen-year old's occupation as "Student" and the expiration date as September 30, 1949. It is signed in blue ink at the bottom: "Neil A Armstrong". The verso states that "This license must be carried while driving" and it definitely shows the wear associated with being in his wallet for nearly a year. Still, an extreme rarity worthy of the finest collection. Good.

This lot will be accompanied by a signed COA from Neil Armstrong's brother, Dean.
