National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) 1955 Triennial Inspection Program From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. 10.75" x 8" (opened). Held at the Ames Aeronautical Laboratory, Moffett Field, California on June 27 and 28, 1955. The demonstrations and lectures included topics such as static stability, dynamic stability, airplane flexibility, and jet aircraft crash-fire research. Neil had applied to NACA's High-Speed Flight Station at Edwards Air Force base in early 1955 but there were no open positions at the time. NACA forwarded his application to the Lewis Flight Propulsion Laboratory in Cleveland, and it was there that he made his first test flight on March 1, 1955. Presumably Neil attended this symposium in furtherance of his test pilot career. The paper is toned with moderate to heavy wrinkling, otherwise it is very good. Sealed in a numbered archival sleeve, CAG 1002028-005. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
