    Description

    Very early large-scale Gemini model

NASA Rare Vintage Gemini Space Capsule Model on Stand, 1/10 Scale (!), with Cut-Out View of Astronauts, pre-1965. A 14" tall x 9" bottom diameter model on a 10" diameter base, marked "1/10 Scale Gemini"; the overall height is 18". An apparently hand-finished early model of the Reentry Module (crew capsule) with limited detail- two painted windows above a clear plastic curved 9" x 4" view window through which can be seen a crude control panel and two astronauts on their couches; the details on which appear hand-painted. On the right side is a large decal reading "United States" with the flag beneath. First one of these we've offered. Obviously missing in many collections. Very good.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
