The Bell X-14A was designated NASA 234 (N234NA). It was used by NASA for research on lunar landing maneuvers as the flight control system was similar to what was proposed for the lunar module. Armstrong flew it as a lunar-landing trainer and here is the film to verify that. An extreme rarity. Not tested, appears fine. CAG 1002062-011. This lot will include an encapsulated CAG Photo Certificate with Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
