    Description

Mercury Seven Astronauts: NASA "Project Mercury" Publication Signed by All Next to Their Photos, with Novaspace COA. A vintage four page brochure of 8" x 10.5", published April 1959. On the front are small B&W images of each of these legendary American heroes. They have all signed neatly in ballpoint inks vertically next to their images, as follows: "M. Scott Carpenter", "Leroy G Cooper Jr", "John H. Glenn Jr", "Virgil I Grissom", "Walter M Schirra", "Alan B. Shepard Jr", and "D. K. Slayton". Based on the formality of the signature forms, these are quite early. Contrast is a bit lacking, but a great piece and something out of the ordinary. Very fine.

Included with this lot is a Novaspace Certificate of Authenticity signed by Kim Poor.
