    John Young's Flown T-38 Flight Suit Directly from his Personal Collection, Certified and Signed. Patches present for Columbia STS-1 (upper right sleeve), Columbia-Spacelab 1 STS-9 (right chest), NASA logo (left chest), and U.S. flag (upper left sleeve). The T-38 Talon is a U.S. supersonic jet trainer that has long been used by NASA for astronaut training. This blue, one-piece flight suit was manufactured in the U.S.A. by Flight Suits Ltd of El Cajon, California (tag present). Approximate measurements are as follows: across the shoulders at the neck- 21"; down the sleeve from shoulder seam- 22.5"; and overall length- 65.5". This one has definitely seen some use with a tear at each shoulder, though generally in fine condition.

    On the front left pocket beneath the NASA patch, Young has written: "My Flown T38 Flight Suit. John Young".
