Gherman Titov's Speech as Presented to the May 1962 COSPAR Symposium in Washington, D.C., Signed by and from the Archives of Soviet General Nikolai Kamanin. A twenty-one page typescript in Russian (with handwritten corrections), 8" x 11.25" in size, regarding his Vostok 2 space mission of the previous August. The first page starts out: "Mr. President! Ladies and gentlemen!", then he thanks the committee for inviting him to take part. He immediately starts talking about how the age-old dream of spaceflight was now happening and mentions several names that helped lead up to the present successes- Copernicus, Kepler, Newton, Tsiolkovsky, and Goddard. At the top of page one is written in blue ink (in Russian): "Report May 3, 62 Gherman Titov/ Which Titov read in my presence/ in Washington at the Symposium of Cospar A/ Kamanin June 16, 62". Titov was the first cosmonaut to pay an official visit to the U.S., a two-week trip in April-May 1962 with his wife and General Kamanin. Highlights included the COSPAR symposium and meeting President John F. Kennedy and John Glenn. Rare and historical. Fine.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
