    Description

Gene Cernan Signed Large Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Color Photo. A dramatic 16" x 20" silk-finish photo, NASA image AS17-134-20387, on Kodak Endura paper. Cernan is holding the corner of the American flag and the Earth is visible in the background. He has signed in silver felt tip with excellent contrast: "'America's Challenge of/ Today has Forged Man's/ Destiny of Tomorrow'/ Gene Cernan/ Apollo XVII/ Commander/ Dec 1972". This is a portion of his comments as he took man's last step off the moon's surface. Excellent.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
