    Description

Gemini 8 Flown MS63 NGC Silver Fliteline Medallion Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. This 25mm medal was flown aboard Gemini 8 with Armstrong and Pilot Dave Scott. The mission performed the world's first orbital docking in space, with an Agena Target Vehicle. The obverse of the medal shows the whole spectrum of objectives that were planned to be accomplished on Gemini 8. We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
